It was another record-breaking year for the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout.
During a Sunday evening ceremony, the organizers of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout were ecstatic to announce that the 33rd annual event raised a record-setting $445,000 for 40 charitable organizations, including seven local fire departments.
This year's funds brings the total amount raised to more than $2.8 million since the Shootout moved to Captain Ron's Bar & Grill in 2008.
